Tabasco right-hander Yancey Bussie helped his team edge Quintana Roo by the score of 3-2. Bussie kept the opposing lineup in check. The winner was Ethan Wald in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Parker Koster took the loss. Samuel Simmons finished to wrap up his 18th save.

Tabasco used the clutch hitting of Torch Cardinale to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Tacos the lead, 3-2. For the game, Cardinale had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"Tough loss," said Quintana Roo manager Rodolfo Tapia. "But we'll learn from it."

The Tacos bumped their record to 45-41 with this latest triumph.
