Road Win Lifts Rocket City to 2-0 Lead in AACS
With left-hander Juan Jones leading the charge, the Rocket City Trash Pandas got past the Gateway Grizzlies, 9-4, in extra innings in Game 2 of the AA Championship Series. Jones threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball at FNB Field as Rocket City managed to grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Rocket City used the clutch hitting of Ian Gasperetti to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the 11th inning to give the Trash Pandas the lead, 7-4. For the game, Gasperetti had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"When Juan is on, he can really move the ball around," said Rocket City manager Dave Rhodes.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 17th , 2060 at Hank Aaron Stadium in Madison.
