Curve Take 2-1 Lead with 7-2 Win
The Altoona Curve got a strong performance from pitcher D.J. Myers, who stymied the visiting Yonkers Dark Knights en route to a win, 7-2, in Game 3 of the Regional Championship Series. The Dark Knights could never get a bead on the right-handed Myers, who threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The Curve now hold a 2-1 in the best-of-7 series.

The Curve picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"D.J. is good at sticking to his strengths," said Altoona manager Matt Hartford.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at People's Natural Gas Field in Altoona.
