Glendale Takes Regional Championship Series
The Glendale Gauchos have beaten the Gilbert Geckos and will advance to the R Championship Series.

Glendale won the final game by a 2-0 count to take the series 4-2. The Gauchos triumph was no doubt in large part because of the performance of right fielder Robby Chavez, who was named MVP of the series.

"The only thing that matters is that we're off to the next round and one step closer to a R Championship Series," he said.

The R Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Regional Championship Series finishes.
