Syracuse Wins at Home to Take 3-0 Lead in AAACS
The Syracuse Chiefs are one game away from a sweep after downing the visiting Tucson Sidewinders at Victory Field, 7-4. Chiefs third baseman Jonathon Vasquez was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Syracuse now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 AAA Championship Series.

Syracuse took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Ethan Estep hit a 2-run triple to make it 5-3, Chiefs.

"We're trending in the wrong direction," said Tucson manager Spike Peck.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Victory Field in Syracuse.
