Rainiers Even With Sidewinders After Home Win
|
The Tacoma Rainiers took down the Tucson Sidewinders by the score of 6-4 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Regional Championship Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to Tacoma starter J. David Thomas, who threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs.
Gabriel Coleman had a clutch at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for the Rainiers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Tacoma trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Thomas.
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 8th , 2061 at Greater Nevada Field in Tucson.
