Indians Heading to Regional Championship Series
The Kinston Indians said they felt the Divisional Series with the Erwin Mountaineers would go the distance.

But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Kinston advanced to the Regional Championship Series with a 5-3 score, to clinch the series 4-2 at Ballpark of Kinston.

"Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Dallas Dicks, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the R+ Championship Series."

For the series, Dicks hit .360 with a .407 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
