Grasshoppers Rally Past Intimidators to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
The Greensboro Grasshoppers started the Divisional Series in dramatic fashion today, stealing Game 1 from the Kannapolis Intimidators in a walk-off. Greensboro won 5-2 behind a good day from starter Gabriel Gapinski. The right-hander threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball in the win, which gave the Grasshoppers a 1-0 lead to start the best-of-7 series.

Leonardo Reynoso was the walk-off hero for Greensboro. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grasshoppers second baseman hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"The house was rockin'," said Reynoso.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro.
