Dostie Blasts Suns, Intimidators Take Game 1, 4-3
The Kannapolis Intimidators started the Regional Championship Series in style today, winning on the road against the Hagerstown Suns at Ballpark of Hagerstown by a score of 4-3 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Intimidators right fielder Roydrick Dostie excelled. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.

Dostie had a consequential at-bat in the top of the fifth for the Intimidators. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and Kannapolis trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run triple.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Dostie.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Hagerstown in Hagerstown.
