Raucous Ashford University Field Crowd Propels LumberKings to 3-1 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Clinton LumberKings topped the Dayton Dragons by the score of 3-1 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Regional Championship Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Clinton starter Duardo Vega, who threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball in the win.

Though he didn't earn the victory, Vega kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Clinton offense came through. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 8.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Clinton manager Fernando Vasquez.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ashford University Field in Clinton.
