Tacoma Wins Divisional Series
The Tacoma Rainiers "bent but didn't break" against the Inland Empire 66ers in the Divisional Series.

That's according to Rod Zaino of Tacoma, who was named series MVP.

"Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said.


Tacoma won the final game by a 3-2 count and the series 4-1.

Zaino's MVP performance included hitting .312 with a .353 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
