Road Win Lifts New Hampshire to 3-2 Lead in DS
Despite a great performance by Quebec starter Colón Rodríguez, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Metros by the score of 6-5 at Metros Ballpark today. Rodríguez threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball, but he couldn't prevent the Fisher Cats from moving one game closer to the Regional Championship Series. New Hampshire now leads the Divisional Series 3-2.

New Hampshire used the timely hitting of Kristion Golson to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Fisher Cats on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Golson told the New Hampshire Observer: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"

Game 6 is scheduled for Monday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.
