Riding the 4-hit performance of center fielder Bentley Callahan, the Charleston RiverDogs got a road win against the Rome Braves, 7-3, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. Callahan was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the RiverDogs, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Charleston used a clutch at-bat from Toby Brooks to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the RiverDogs ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We haven't stopped playing," Rome manager Oscar Lopez said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in Charleston.
