Bisons Take 2-1 Lead with 3-1 Win
Despite a great performance by Maine starter Joey Baughey, the Buffalo Bisons defeated the Grizzlies by the score of 3-1 at Chukchansi Park. Baughey threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball, but he couldn't prevent the Bisons from moving one game closer to the Regional Championship Series. Buffalo now leads the Divisional Series 2-1.

In the top of the second, Buffalo catcher Matthew Questad had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and two out, Questad stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 2-0, Buffalo. For the game, he was 1 for 4.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Buffalo manager Rich Hernandez told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Chukchansi Park in Portland.
