Lugnuts Rally Past Wolverines to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
The Lansing Lugnuts took the first game of the Wild Card Series in dramatic fashion, topping the Flint Wolverines with a ninth-inning walk-off, 3-2 victory. Wolverines pitcher Lonnie Reynolds had a productive, if futile, game. He threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball.

Tucker Wilson was the walk-off hero for Lansing. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lugnuts right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Wilson called the win "a collective effort."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing.
