Bulls Win Divisional Series
|
The Durham Bulls took time to celebrate with the Durham fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Divisional Series triumph over the Scranton Dundies.
Members of the Bulls hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Durham fans in attendance at PNC Field, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 4-2 win to seal the series 4-2.
"We've got great fan support," said designated hitter Jackson Loch. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Scranton fans that were there even congratulated us on the win."
For the series, Loch hit .476 with a .522 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 5 runs.
Things weren't so cordial on the Dundies side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.
The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
