Diaz Blasts Bisons, Chiefs Take Game 2, 6-3
The Syracuse Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 6-3, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was second baseman Sergio Diaz, who went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times. The win moves Syracuse into a 1-1 tie with Buffalo in the series.

Syracuse used the hitting of Lochlan Iacobellis to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Chiefs on top, 5-1. For the game, Iacobellis had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Every team in baseball loses," Bisons manager Rich Hernandez said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 29th , 2061 at Victory Field in Syracuse.
