Arenado, Chukars Wallop Black Diamonds in Game 2 of WCS
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Rogny Arenado, the Idaho Falls Chukars got a road win against the Lethbridge Black Diamonds, 8-1, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. Arenado hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Chukars, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Arenado had a key at-bat in the top of the second to put Idaho Falls in front, 6-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run off Lethbridge pitcher Rabbit Maloney.

Arenado called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Melaleuca Field in Idaho Falls.
