Binghamton Wins Wild Card Series
Depending on your loyalties, the Wild Card Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Rumble Ponies came out on top, winning 8-3 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium today to take the series 4-3.

"We're lucky to be going into the Divisional Series," said Binghamton pitcher Cole Blumenstock. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

Blumenstock earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .500 average, with 0 home runs, 3 RBI and 5 runs scored.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
