Riding the 2-hit performance of first baseman Aaron Mullins, the Frisco RoughRiders stopped the visiting Chattanooga Scouts, 6-3, in Game 3 of the Wild Card Series. Mullins went 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the RoughRiders, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

The RoughRiders had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 6-3, Frisco, with one out. Chattanooga, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Ken Marker dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch fastball, he popped out.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.
