Almost There: Tucson On Cusp of WCS Triumph After 9-4 Win
The Tucson Sidewinders moved to within one game of the Divisional Series, downing the Inland Empire 66ers on the road at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark by a score of 9-4. Sidewinders right-hander Reagan Daly had a strong outing. He threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Sidewinders a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Wild Card Series.

Tucson used the timely hitting of Yélder Balderrama to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sidewinders on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Daly.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in San Bernardino.
