The Winnipeg Goldeyes relied on the hitting of second baseman Cameron Romeiras to get by the Inland Empire 66ers, 6-4, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. For the game, Romeiras was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Romeiras hit a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first to help the Winnipeg cause. The home run, which was hit off Zenaido Mejia, allowed Winnipeg to take a 2-0 lead.

"Nice win for us," said Romeiras. "Now we'll go after the next one."

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in San Bernardino.
