Helguera Now 7-3 Following 6-2 Win

The Fresno Falcons got a strong performance from pitcher Anton Helguera. The Big Raisin stymied the New York offense en route to a solid, 6-2 win at Citi Field. Today's win puts Fresno at 32-33, while New York falls to 31-34.
The Mets had few good swings against Helguera, the left-hander, who threw 103 pitches over 7.1 innings. He allowed just no runs on 3 hits.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Helguera.
