Scranton Win Brings Series to 1-1
The Scranton Dundies relied on the hitting of designated hitter Glenn Pichardo to get by the Syracuse Chiefs, 7-5, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. For the game, Pichardo was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Scranton used the timely hitting of Brennan Stell to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dundies on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We ground out the win," said Stell. "That's all that matters."

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at PNC Field in Scranton.
