Tight Tilt Goes to Kangas, 2-1
|
The Quintana Roo Kangas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Timothy Galik, who stifled the Yucatan offense en route to a 2-1 Kangas win at The Roo Zoo. Parker Koster got the save, the 9th for him this season. The Matadors, now 19-31, have lost 5 in a row.
The Kangas grabbed the lead in the bottom of the second. With two out, Sydney Cislo hit a solo home run off Barry Spencer, putting Quintana Roo in front, 2-0. For Cislo, it was his 4th home run of the season.
"We scored one run," said Yucatan manager Ángel Fuentes. "You're not gonna get a lot of Ws scoring just one run."
