The Chihuahua Aztecs eked out a 3-2 win versus the Yucatan Matadors at Bull Rush Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Rodd Mayberry. He was terrific. Dylan Hardin came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Cal Stuart was called on to finish, recording his 12th save.

An important at-bat for the Aztecs came in the top of the fourth, when right fielder Adrian Solorio stroked a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Chihuahua. For the day, Solorio was 1 for 4.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Mayberry said.

The win for the Aztecs raised their record to 26-21.
