Already down in the Wild Card Series, the Great Lakes Loons put on their best show, beating the Dayton Dragons by a final score of 4-3. Isaac Lee was special. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Great Lakes now trails Dayton 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Sam Becenti came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Dayton pitcher Mike Anast, he hit a 1-2 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Great Lakes on top, 4-3.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Great Lakes skipper Eli Coalter. "I can't complain."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dow Diamond in Midland.
