Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Chihuahua Aztecs and Mexico City Diablos Rojos.

The Chihuahua Aztecs eked out a 2-1 win versus the Mexico City Diablos Rojos at Timeless Temple. Nobody did more than pitcher Anthony Xuan. He was terrific. Cal Stuart earned save number 10 this season.

The Aztecs grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out, Aaron Statzer hit a 2-run home run off Andrew Koda, putting Chihuahua in front, 2-1. For Statzer, it was his 3rd home run of the season.

"This was a tough loss," said Mexico City manager Roque Rivera. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."

The Aztecs bumped their record to 24-20 with this latest triumph.
