Black Bears Win Divisional Series
|
The West Virginia Black Bears are one step closer to winning a A- Championship Series, and the season came to a close for the Hamilton Red Wings.
West Virginia won the Divisional Series 4-2, with a 2-1 victory in the deciding game at Dutchess Stadium today.
West Virginia left fielder Nickenson Baal was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .364 with a .481 on-base percentage. He had 3 homers, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.
"I just hope I can keep it up in the Regional Championship Series," he said.
The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
