Temecula Win to Pull Even With Sonoma
The Temecula Udder Tuggers knotted up the Wild Card Series at Bright House Field today, thanks in large part to left fielder Henry Sullivan. Sullivan went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs as he overpowered the Sonoma Stompers, enabling Temecula to grab the 8-4 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Temecula relied on the hitting of Papa Knott to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Udder Tuggers on top, 5-2. For the game, Knott had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Winning never gets old," said Knott.

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at San Manuel Stadium in Temecula.
