Cavalry Clip Dodgers, 3-2, in DS Contest
|
The New Westminster Cavalry knotted up the Divisional Series at Medford Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Tobias Slavich. Slavich quieted the Rogue Valley Dodgers, enabling New Westminster to grab the 3-2 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Patrick Goodman had a direct impact on the outcome. Goodman contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put New Westminster up, 1-0.
"We were in it," said Rogue Valley manager Ryland Rafferty. "We just didn't score enough runs."
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 15th , 2068 at Grays Harbor Ballpark in New Westminster.
