The Phoenix Armadillos are on to the Divisional Series after a convincing series win over the Surprise Sidewinders.

Phoenix wrapped up the series sweep with a 6-1 win in the last game, to take the series 3-0.

"We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Liam Wollam, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Wollam hit .357 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
