Closing In: Frisco Nears DS With Dramatic Game 4 Win
The Frisco RoughRiders got a strong game from starter Avery Evjen, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The RoughRiders took the 6-4 win over the Chattanooga Scouts in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Evjen. Evjen threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball in the win, which gave the RoughRiders a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jacob Sehlhorst in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Brandon Webster to win the game for Frisco. The home crowd went nuts.

"The competition leap this year was tough to adjust to and I feel like there has been another jump in the playoffs," said Sehlhorst, a rookie this season. "You're only playing the best now and everyone has time to rest and prepare for you."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.
