Pride Win to Tie Series with Gnomes
The Peoria Pride and the Yuma Gnomes will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Pride shut out the Gnomes, 2-0, at Camelback Ranch to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Peoria left-hander Brayden White did his part. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball.

White, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 6 innings for the Pride. For the most part, Yuma hitters were simply overmatched.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," White said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 10th , 2061 at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Yuma.
