Aqua Sox Hammered by Scully, Drop Game 2 to Spoonbills
With designated hitter Steny Scully leading the charge, the Hollywood Spoonbills got a road win over the Pompano Beach Aqua Sox, 4-2, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. Scully went 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once at Champion Stadium to help Hollywood force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Scully delivered big-time for Hollywood, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Austin Mayorga. The game-changing hit put the Spoonbills on top, 4-1.

"We're one game closer to our goal," Hollywood manager Daryl Dixon said later. "It isn't any more complicated than that."

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, September 9th , 2065 at Roger Dean Stadium in Hollywood.
