Geckos Hammered by Feliberto, Drop Game 3 to Saguaros
The Mesa Saguaros moved to within one game of the Divisional Series, downing the visiting Gilbert Geckos at Capitals Ballpark by a score of 5-2. Saguaros left fielder Danilo Feliberto did some major damage. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win gives the Saguaros a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Wild Card Series.

Tied up with the Geckos in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Saguaros got a boost from right fielder Bryan Francis. With the bases loaded, Francis saw a 1-2 fastball from Jonathan Coles and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Mesa on top, 3-2.

"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Feliberto said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Capitals Ballpark in Mesa.
