Ray, Curve Take Dramatic Game 3 for 2-1 Series Lead
A clutch 10th inning gave the Altoona Curve a walk-off win over the Somerset Patriots and a 2-1 lead in the Wild Card Series at People's Natural Gas Field. Young left fielder Jimmy Ray, 21, earned kudos after he was 2 for 4 with a home run.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 21-year old right fielder Toby Wheeler had a real shot to win the game. Somerset pitcher Hudson McElveen was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Wheeler hit a run-scoring single. The Curve had a walk-off triumph.

"We found a way to win tonight," Ray said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at People's Natural Gas Field in Altoona.
