Cannons Even With Stampede After Walk-Off Win
The Calgary Cannons got a strong game from starter Tony Lichtenstein, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Cannons took the 3-2 win over the Medicine Hat Stampede in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Lichtenstein. Lichtenstein threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball in the win, which brought the Cannons into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Calgary got a game-changing hit from J.R. Cummings. The pinch hitter blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.

"Tough loss," said Medicine Hat manager Brantley Johnson. "But we'll rebound from it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Calgary in Calgary.
