Brewers Win Wild Card Series
|
The Helena Brewers are one step closer to winning a R+ Championship Series, and the season came to a close for the Cheyenne Chiefs.
Helena won the Wild Card Series 4-1, with a 4-2 victory in the deciding game at Ballpark of Cheyenne today.
Helena left fielder Vic Henderson was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .318 with a .348 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
"I just hope I can keep it up in the Divisional Series," he said.
The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
