Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Gray and Bullhead City
When he got to Bullhead City, Solomon Gray was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the Divisional Series.

The 19-year-old rookie right-hander shut out the visiting Ahwatukee Roughnecks, 3-0, in a remarkable performance at Scottsdale Stadium. With the win, the Catfish took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Catfish had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when shortstop Jayden Brady hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Jody Williams and made the score 2-0, Catfish. Brady was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk.

"Nice, tidy little win," Gray said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Scottsdale Stadium in Bullhead City.
