The Daytona Beach Hurricanes and Oviedo Catch completed their game despite the rain.

The Oviedo Catch were defeated, 2-1, by the Daytona Beach Hurricanes at Osceola County Stadium, even though Lex Adams pitched well for Oviedo. Jaylen Harris earned the save, his 2nd.

The Hurricanes got a big at-bat from left fielder Tristan Barton. For the game, Barton was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Daytona Beach a 2-1 lead.

"We leaned on our pitching tonight," Barton said.

The 7th-place Hurricanes bumped their record to 28-42.
