McDonald Hits Two Homers in 9-1 Win for Niagara Falls
With left fielder Brooks McDonald leading the charge, the Niagara Falls Rapids defeated the New Westminster Cavalry, 9-1, at Grays Harbor Ballpark. McDonald slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Niagara Falls is in 8th place in the New York-Penn League North Division with a record of 26-44.

Niagara Falls used a clutch hit from Gary Amadou to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rapids ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It feels good to get this one," McDonald told the Niagara Falls Times.
