Kansas City first baseman Patrick Pollack had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to St. Louis at Busch Stadium. Pollack went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Owen O'Connor earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. Fred Edwards had a big 2-run double for the Cardinals in the bottom of the fifth inning.
