Frias Goes Off, But Catch Win
Gainesville designated hitter T.J. Frias had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Frias went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, even as Oviedo beat the Hogs, 11-10. Aries Baskerville notched his 8th save of the season. The third-place Catch go to 37-30.

Tim Cole hit a grand slam home run off Ángel Luna in the bottom of the third, which put the Catch ahead, 9-8. In addition to the homer, Cole had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.

"Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good," said Cole.
