Cannons Earn Late 1-0 Win
|
Calgary turned a good effort from starter Tony Lichtenstein into a win over the Casper Ghosts at Ballpark of Calgary. The Cannons won the game, 1-0. The Cannons now have a record of 36-33 with the win over Casper.
Calgary took a 1-0 lead on Jake Hatton's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Hatton hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Casper pitcher Morey Wood visibly frustrated.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Lichtenstein.
