4-1 Win Gets Idaho Falls to 35-32
|
Chase Powell was terrific for the Idaho Falls Chukars in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Ogden Raptors. His performance earned Powell rave reviews. With the win, Idaho Falls has a record of 35-32. Ogden falls to 32-35.
Idaho Falls third baseman Stanley York contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 51st hit of the season and put the Chukars ahead, 4-1.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Powell.
