Rainiers Advance to Divisional Series
|
A classic and dramatic Wild Card Series has wrapped up, with the Tacoma Rainiers outlasting the New Orleans Baby Cakes to advance to the Divisional Series.
Tacoma won the final game by a score of 5-3 and took the series 4-3.
"We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Tacoma first baseman Miles Kaye, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.
Kaye hit .333 with a .393 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
