Late Rally Earns Idaho Falls 5-3 Win
The rain came, as predicted, but the Idaho Falls Chukars and Lethbridge Black Diamonds were able to complete their ballgame.

The Idaho Falls Chukars defeated the Lethbridge Black Diamonds, 5-3, at Howard Johnson Field. Leading the charge for Idaho Falls was second baseman Sebastian Lehman. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Rick Schaffer picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Kevin Sarkisian suffered the loss.

Lehman had a timely hit for Idaho Falls in the top of the ninth. With Idaho Falls trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-1 cutter into a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season, making it 5-3, Idaho Falls.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Lehman.

Idaho Falls is in third place in the Pioneer League South Division with a record of 40-29.
