Rocky Mountain took on Idaho Falls in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Andrés Perez, in particular, was fantastic. The Rocky Mountain left-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-0. Vic Berg recorded the save, his 13th. The Vibes improved to 30-39.

The win was credited to Perez. He raised his season record to 6-2. In 8 innings of work, Perez gave up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6. The Chukars never could get a clutch hit when they needed it.
