Knights Absorb 8-1 Loss at The Sparrow's Nest
The Virginia Black Bears downed the Las Vegas Knights, 8-1. The hitting star was third baseman Franklin Bailey. Bailey hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Black Bears. Elijah Shrigley finished to wrap up his 3rd save. The triumph makes Virginia 22-41.

Early in the game, second baseman Rodd Marshall had a 2-run triple for Virginia. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Black Bears on top, 2-1.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Kenny Matuszak.
